    Car shifting rough
    When my car shifts into 2nd gear (automatic transaxle) it gives the car a big jerk.Is this serious?

    Here's what I would do:

    . Drop and clean the transmission pan, change the filter, and refill with Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF. Repeat this process every 30,000 miles.

    . Disconnect the negative battery cable overnight, to force the PCM to relearn shift points.

    Check for vacuum leaks to the transmission's modulator valve, if equipped.
    You may have a worn/broken motor mount(s) as well.

I have a 95' Accord with automatic trans. Recently it seems to take longer to shift to the next gear (higher RPM). When it does shift it seems a bit hard, not smooth like before. If I let offf the throttle a little it will shift, but still seems a little hard. Any insight is greatfull.

hi I got a 1990 4x4 s14 and a 1994 tahoe 4x4 they both have trans issues , they start fine shifts twice nice and smooth but when it shifts into drive it won't go unless u step on gas hard but still feels like its slippin changed trans filter and fluid,, anyone have a clue or something...
