Critical thinking is about thinking and assessing/analizing and asking questions about what ever it is you are sensing.

Look at it this way, you are reading about the benafits of exercise. Here is a piece.

When you exercise there is a release of endorphins, dopamine and together make you happy.

To think critcally about this you'd think: Endorphins what are they? How do they make some one happy? How are they released? How much do we need? Where do they come form?
Then the same for Dopamine. However youmay know a little bit about onee or the other, for example,
Dopamine is said to lower ones threshold in their pleasure senter, so that means dopamine makes it easier to feel pleasure. It also is a natural pain killer, and makes it hard for us to feel unhappy.

    DOes that make sense??

"Critically thinking the ability and willingness to assess claims and to make judgments on the basis of well-supported reasons and evidence, rather than emotion or anecdote." - The Wade/Tavris Psychology text book. 6th edition.

Basically, rather then using a story form some one, or your own emotional attatchment to the subject in question you reason through it using OSE (objective supporting evidence.).

I hope that helps. If not maybe ask a teacher? Or ask more of us here, so we can reason thorugh this.
