    WinXP Taskbar
:-[I removed my Internet Explorer icon from the task bar next to the Start button. I tried dragging it from the Start but it would not insert. I did add it to the Links. I tried the microsoft.com FAQs, but did not help. You cannot believe how much time I have spent on this simplistic task.

    :(

    Thanks

    WinXP Taskbar
    Hi PocoLoco,

Put the icon on the Desktop first, from there you can left click and drag it to the Taskbar.

    Hope this helps!

Now that is curious. Please provide some more information.

    - Is the blue 'e' showing up in the task bar. If it is not, then I can provide you with very specific directions, though Whiskey14's procedure is correct.

    - If the 'e' shows up, and clicking on it does not bring up Internet Explorer, then I can help you to create a working short cut.

Again, the key here is that we need more information.

I look forward to your respons.

    Re: WinXP Taskbar
I bet what you'v done is you'v removed the "Quick Launch" which is the part of the task bar were you put short cut's. To put it back right click a empty space on the taskbar then go to toolbars then clikc on "Quick Launch" I bet this fixes your problem. And if it dose I bet you won't thank me because you feel like a idiot.  ;D
