I got the flame sensor out and it is real dirty I'm going to clean it and put back in

OK well try the flame sensor, and while you are down there look on the back of the furnace doors for the fault code chart and see if it matches what you found online. And get back too me. I am usually on here in the morning around 8 and in the evenings for a hr or so.. josh

Yo Josh after cleaning the flame sensor my furnace has been working fine even though the error code says the swith is open. Thanks again, you r the man

The blower doesn't run all the time and the error light has stopped flashing and its been working fine since the cleaning of the flame sensor.

Hi All...
Hopefully uou can help me out...
I have a york diamond 80 gas furnace. It was working fine up until a few days ago..
It began to blow out cold air when the house clearly was not even close to "requested" temp.
It turns on, starts the initial motor, the humidifer also kicks...

I get three red flashes from the furnace after an attempt sequence when the t-stat calls for heat. The motor starts, and seems to try to light but after about thirty seconds, it quits and gives the error code.

My York Diamond 80 is not heating. When I turn it on the fan starts but flame does not attempt to ignite. The diagnostic code flashes 4 times. Sheet says 'Aux. Or Spill Limit switch'
What are these? Where are they? Can they be reset?
