    Balancing equation and identify it's reaction
    Li3N(s) ---> Li(s) + N2(g)

    Mg(s) + N2(g) ---> Mg3N2(s)

    Al(s) + HCl(aq) ---> AlCl3(aq) + H2g)

    I did, maybe next time I should post with my answer lol.. I did them but wanted to make sure they were right. I am self teaching myself all of this and don't have an aswer key

    You can multiply two of the equations by 2 to get small whole numbers. Molecules typically react this way (with small whole numbers). The reason for this is that typically molecules have to collide to react -- especially in the gas phase. The more molecules have to collide to react, the less likely the reaction is to proceed.
