    Looking for book title
    I read this great book about 15 years ago and I can't remember the title. Is was about a young boy who saves his village by calling on magic to cover is village in mist. The mist confused the attackers and saved his village. This let to the boy being taught by the village sorcerer. When he learned all he could he was sent to a school for wizards. The final test before he could leave the school involved him going to a tower to learn all the names of every star. The book is a set in a trilogy. Please help me. Thank you.
