    Sales Tax
    I am starting a home based embroidery business. I would like to know when and on what I should charge sales tax?:confused:

    It depends on where you live.

    Each province/state has different laws regarding this.

    Generally you have to pay Sales tax for any state where you have a business outlet. Since that's only in NJ you would only need to collect for product shipped within NJ. However, you should contact the NJ Taxation authorities for exact requirements.
