Notice of entry with process server
Hello all. I have been going through the divorce process for some time now. The location of my soon to be ex husband is unknown. As such, I had to go the "service by publication" route. After paying over $1,300 and taking all of the necessary steps, my divorce judgment is days away from being signed. However, I am now realizing that I must serve him with the notice of entry and I am wondering how that is possible when there is no known address? Will I have to pay more money to have another ad posted to alert him that the divorce has been completed. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I live in the New York area in case that has any bearing on the answer. Thanks in advance.

Yes, if the only means of service is publication, that is what you will have to do.
