    Any book recommendation?
    Hey guys anyone knows a good novel that is adventurous, has a touch of mystery, a touch of romance, not too long like over 300 pages, relaxing, suspenseful?

    I think "The Scarlet Pimpernel" by Baroness Orczy is a fun and very romantic adventure novel, especially if you like novels written in the past.

    Did you read a thousand splendid suns though? It's way better. In cold blood is awesome. I'm a big harry potty fan too. I didn't think the first two books were that great when I read them again but the others are awesome. It really isn't corny. That's what I thought before I read them, but now I love them.

    My favorite;

    Swan Song by Robert McCammon.

    It's over 300 pages though, closer to 1000, but it's worth the read. :)

    The Dresden Files is a cool series that I've just started. It's about a Wizard - it's pretty intense.

    Also, The Book of the Dead is good - again, suspenseful.

    John D MacDonald's "Travis McGee" novels... the first one I ever read was "The Deep Blue Goodbye"

    Dresden is good, too.

Book Recommendation [ 10 Answers ]

I just finished reading Michael Crichton's State of Fear. I think its one of the most important books I have ever read in my lifetime (and I'm an avid reader). I would strongly urge everyone to run out and get a copy (its in paperback or at your local library) and read it immediately.
