    The transaction is: Pays Green Jacket Co. on account. What 2 ledgers would I use?

    This is the basics: Expense and Cash.

    You debit the expense category for the type of expense and Credit (decrease) cash.

    Is that what you're asking?

    Cash is Credited and your Accounts Payable is Debited.
