    Hampton Bay Ceiling Fans
Just bought a new Hampton Bay ceiling fan and it was installed by the contractor doing other work in our house. When the four (4) lights are on in the fan, after some time (one hr or so) the lights go off by themselves... also, if the fan is off, after a while it goes on by itself. The light is connected to both a remote and wall switch, the fan is too. Any idea what causes this?
    Thanks.

Some other RF device in your area is on the same frequency. Change the dip switches. See:

I have a Hampton Bay ceiling fan and when the concractor removed it, the screws and bushings for the fan blades were lost. Where can I get the replacement screws and bushings for the fan blades.

Home Depot sells packets of screws for fans, otherwise try to match them up at any good hardware store.
