    Well the title sums it up really what do people think of women being the best men ?

    I guess you see it even in straight marriages. You see Men as maids of honor too. My cousin(girl) made her twin brother her maid of honor... over her sisters, she was closest to him and that was the way it was. It's their day they can do with it whatever they choose right?

    It is quite common in the last few years for men to stand up for the bride and for women to stand up for the groom. I don't think you should refer to your female attendant as "the best man", but I do think you should be able to choose who stands up for you.
