Do you have a passport ? If not, no, you cant.
You haven't been lisitening to the news for the last three years. Canadians, except Quebec (because they have new drivers licenses that are microchipped) need a passport to travel across the border. Unless your province has initiated anything like Quebec, then no.
If you live in Ontario it will cost you $85 for a passport provided you have a birth certificate proving y ou are Canadian.
A Canadian called the tick who has a passport just renewed and paid the fee !

Hello D:
Even if you get a passport, I don't think that entitles you to work in the US. I'll bet you're going to need more than that.

Yes of course he will. I have already worked in the states with a green card and came back years ago. But I don't think he means working professionally. Our OP may be a little young.

What does that mean 'being to Canadian'. Are you here illegally ?

Yes, I had a sense that might be the case. All you needed was bouncing around the US/Cdn. Border trying to get down there and back up as a bounty hunter. I take it you are out of work and grasping at straws trying to figure how to make a buck which doesn't necessarily have to be legal. Can you try something that is legal? Do you have any friends where you are who can help ?

I would like to be a bounty hunter... unfortunately it's illegal in canada.
I currently hold a P.I. license for ontario but I need something more exciting.
You mentioned something about a green card ? I have a passport.
What do I need to work in say the state of NY or do you know where I can find that information ?
I have been on travel sites run my the canadian government but by the looks of it they don't want canadians working in the states.
They make the information difficult to find.
Can anyone lead me in the right direction?

Does anyone remember a television show that aired in the early 90's and was about a woman who was a bounty hunter and she lived in the woods with this guy. I was only like 5 years old when I remember watching this show, so my details are skimpy. It aired on saturdays during the day and another show...
