Okay, so it's a time right now that you can make some sounds without disturbing someone. But, you want to go back to sleep.

    Is that correct?

    Thanks!

We don't have to do anything tonight. I don't want you being on here to be the reason for you not getting enough sleep.

There will be many other nights that we can work on this. The next couple of steps that I'm going to do with you are going to take some time, like maybe a couple of hours. It would be best not to interrupt the next couple of steps.

So, my suggestion would be for you to go back to sleep for tonight.

    Okay?

Oops! I'm sorry that I didn't see your post here until now!

How are you? Have you studied some of the things that I suggested for you to study?

    Thanks!

    Haha that's all right.

I'm very good. How are you? I have a little bit, but when trying to print some parts of the site, my printer decided to be mean and not print. D:

I'm glad that you're all right and I know how it goes with printers!

I'm pretty good, although I'm having some issues with one of my hips being out of place and some back pain that's related to that. I did a really big, hard paint job on the ceiling of a customer last week that took a long time where I had to bend my neck and look up at the ceiling the whole time that I was taping it off and painting.

Would you like to try to name some of the notes that I'll post that are on a treble clef?

    Thanks!

Yeah printers always know when I need something haha.

Oh wow. Are you going to see a doctor for that? That paint job sounds pretty tiring and painful. D: But dang paint and music? You're talented haha.

Sure. I'd love to try. :D

Yes, I'm going to be going to a chiropractor. It's very difficult for me to walk right now. I directed my barbershop chorus tonight for rehearsal. Usually, I stand for most of the time there. But tonight, I had to sit for the entire time.

Thanks for the compliment. I just like to do a lot of different things. I've been around awhile...

    Post with notes is coming...

Below, is a chart of the notes on the treble clef staff. You can use it to find the notes on the staff that is below it.

Please name all of the notes on the staff that is below, going from left to right without skipping any of them. If you're incorrect on some of them, that's okay.

Here is a hint. The first four notes are E, D, B and A.

Ah okay. Walking sticks! For assistance. :)
Aww that's no fun or maybe not? What is barbershop chorus? Reminds me of this Kpop guy, he injured his leg so he could only sing standing. While the rest of his group did that and danced.

Ohhh that's cool. I should try out more things too. :) Are you calling yourself old haha?

    Okie dokie, so if the first four are E, D, B, and A, the rest are G, G, E, D, A, C, A, B, something lol, A, G, E?

Actually, you left out three. Your answers on the other ones are perfect, though! Excellent and great job, Shiang! :)

What do you suppose is the name of the highest note? The names of the notes to either side of it, going from left to right, are B and A.

Oh dang. Missing three is pretty bad though. That's like uh 75% right there.

Hrmm... I do not know what that highest one is.

Since the note directly to the right of it is "A", then the highest note is a "B" since it's higher than the "A". It's called a "ledger line note" because it's like it's on a "ledge" outside of the lines and spaces on the staff. A ledge can be high or low. So, ledger line notes can be above or below a staff.

Please name the seven letters of the alphabet that we use in writing music, starting with "A", and going from left to right in the order of the alphabet.

    Thanks!
