    Non-letter keys on keyboard
Recently I had my PC reformatted after a virus attack; now it seems that, apart of letters, most keys on keyboard are mixed up, say I type " and get @, and the other way round. Kindly help.

Someone told me "Go to Control panel... Regional and Lanuage settings and set it to the country you are in... I think yours may be set to English(United States) and if in the uk you need to make it English (uk)... Then click apply and OK. Whatever Country you are in just set it accordingly."

I tried this on USA, UK, Australia, Canada.
    It didn't help.

    Please help.
