2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee, Signal lights work intermittently. Sometimes they work find but then again they just don't, then they start working again. Only the signal lights do this. Any ideas?

It's a chance it could be a short somewhere or the switch could be going bad, also check the relay, when it gets short out it disconnect itself and after a while reconnect, which makes it work on and off.

You should try installing a new multi-function switch.

Replace the combination light switch. Be sure to disconnect the negative battery cable first.

Is the multi-function switch the same as Tx greasemonkey calls a combination switch? I use to call it a flasher! If so, Do I really need to Disconnect battery to replace it because of airbag?

Yes, a combination switch is the same as a multifunction switch. Removing the negative. Battery cable is required, anytime you replace anything in the electrical system.

I don't think "dislike" is the proper word for me. I have no respect for copy cats, though.

Your word choice is definitely better.

Guess this post is a little late being posted, but I intend to follow through, Coincidental as my username may be, I had no intention of being a 'Copy Cat'. I have worked 8 years as an automechanic in Il, I've used this username on multiple occasions. Though while I am an experienced mechanic, I have personally read many answers and posts by TXgreasemonkey, and I have found him to be extremely knowledgeble, and precise in his work.

No big deal. We were pokin' some fun atcha. Been so long since you posted, we've completely forgotten it.
Since you state you're a experienced mechanic, why don't you stick around and help some very confused car owners with their problem issues at AMHD?
And I agree, Txgreasemonkey is top dawg around these parts.
