    What is the proper height for a shower head and valves?

    This is actually a mater of choice, and it depends on how tall you and anyone else is that will be using the shower. I always made the opening in the wall at six feet, as you add the shower arm that will drop the shower head down about four inches with the average shower head.

    If it is a stand alone shower four feet from the shower floor is a good height.
