    Corelle vs Luminarc
Is there a difference between Corelle and Luminarc plates?
I have heard that Corelle are very tough and hard to break.
I found some Luminarc at a great price and cheaper than Corelle but want to know how they compare to Corelle.

If you plan on using the Correlle in a microwave - don't. This material heats up to very high temperatures and you can get burned very easily. Also, it is easy to break this stuff as I've broken many plates, bowls, etc. I don't use Correlle because of the breakability.

Don't know anything about the other product.
