    Hair too dark
I have naturally medium brown hair and the other day I decided for the first time to dye my hair. I used a midnight black dye that is semi-permanent and says will wash out in 28 days. After I dyed my hair I realized I hated it and saw that if you already had dark hair it won't wah out in 28 days. I have used the V05 hot oil and used dandruff shampoo to help get the dye out more quick but its not working. I was wondering if there was any way for me to get the dye out faster but I am interested in getting it back to my natural color i am not interested in dying it again unless there is no other way

So please, any information about how I can AND if it is possible to get this dye out will be much appreciated.

    Thank you.

Hello, Amber. I've received your PM. Semi-permanent dyes are medium-sized particles and can partially penetrate the hair shaft. They last between three to five weeks. They cause the hair cuticle to swell and allow for better penetration of color. Keep in mind that black semi-permanent dyes are hard to remove and it may gradually wash away. Use a clarifying shampoo, it will fade hair color faster.
