    Transferring big file
    Hi I'm Wessley,
I have a movie file of around 600MB on a pc. Is it possible for me to transfer it to an other pc if I only have the internet, and a floppy drive. Is there any software available that can either zip the file sufficiently, or that can split it into smaller files?

    Thanks

    Hi.
In theory, you can transfer the file only having a foppy drive. Use this free software to split the movie to near 500 files each of which having the size of a floppy disk(1.44 MB): "splitter merger uk"
Go to www.downloads.com and search with above keywords. It's just 40 Kbytes or so.
As for using internet to do this, you use the above method to split the movie to 3 MB files and send it to yourself through Yahoo mail.

    Bye.

You can actually network the two systems using a cross cable (looks like a normal network cable) and Netbuei protocol. But your 2 systems must have Network cards.

Another method is also to network them with a special USB to USB network cable. You can find them in these computer shops.
