    Mobile Home Title
    I lost my mobile home title during Katrina (I live on the Mississippi Gulf Coast). The lien holder said they don't have it anymore because they sent it to me. How do I get a copy of it?

    If you used a lawyer when purchasing, they may have a copy.

    Hello B:

    I'd check with the motor vehicles department. They must have provisions for a lost title. A trailer IS a motor vehicle, no?

    Yes, mobile home titles are just like car titles, registered with the state.
    You can apply for a lost titile and get a duplicate issues.
