Hardware store PVC P{iping for Beer brewing applicattions?
I am working on building a hop back for my home brewery and I bought some PVC from Lowe's.
I was just wondering if it is food grade or if is at least safe to use in a brewing application.
I've heard CPVC is better but was unable to find any at Lowe's and opted for the regular PVC instead.
Can anyone tell me if it is sadfe to use the PVC on food/beer applications?
And if not what is the problem or reason to not use it for brewing beer?
    Thanks

Beer [ 6 Answers ]

Hello! I'm confused about the beer types. One is called draft beer, the other one, I don't know the name. OK, as far as I understand draft means that it is not pasteurized as opposed to the bottled and canned beer, but draft canned beer is sold, so it looks like contradictory. Can smebody explain...
