70s movie where "young" people take over politically
Back in the 70s I remember seeing a rebellious political movie where the "young" people take over running the gov't and decide that anyone 40 years old and older are obsolete and are removed from their positions. There is a charismatic young man who becomes the ruler by running for office and then proceeds to run the gov't his way and sends the "older" people away (I can't remember the exact fate of the older people). The movie ends when the "young" ruler realizes that time has past and now he is almost 40 and is about to be removed from society by his own rules. During one of the final scenes as he's been replaced some of the new "younger" people comment to themselves about the "old" guy they see and feel sorry for him because he is SO OLD (at 40!). Thanks for the help!

I am looking for a movie that is about a group of young boys. I think the movie is about them and some kind of adventure type story. The only thing I remember is that the song "The Wanderer" made popular by Dion, is in the movie in a scene where one of the boys is pretending to shave in his...

Dale Carnegie's "Winning friends & influencing people" [ 1 Answers ]

Is there anybody out there who rates this seminal work as much as I do? I'm a company director and I'm always looking for inspiration. I was a bit doubtful about it because of its age but I now have the audio book in my car and listen to it often on the way to work to set me up for the day. I'd...
