    Applying for H1 visa within and outside US
    Hi,

    I have applied for H1 visa twice from India and could not get through the lottery.
    I will be travelling to US on H4visa in April.
    Since the H1 Visa processing starts earlier in India is it possible that I can apply being in India and again apply in April from US.

    Also is there any consideration for H4visa holders if applied from US.

    Kindly answer my queries.

    Both H-1 and H-4 are administrative processing visas, so it's recommended to apply at the consulate in your home country.

    H-4 is visa for dependents of H-1, limited to spouse and children under 21 only.
