Vietnam and other countries in militiary
I don't know if I am posting this in the wrong category or not because I didn't find military. I was wondering, if Vietnam ever went to war with Burma, who would win? How about Vietnam went to war against Thailand? I know this is just random questions that's mostly based on opinion but oh well, I want to hear them! Thanks

No, the civil war I believe was the most violent war in American history.
How is the VietNam war like? What?

    How do you measure violence?

Number of deaths? Number of injuries? Societal damage? Types of weapons? Amount of damage done to civilians? Lack of a "code" of war--as in, was it shoot everyone and let god sort them out, or was it more like a surrender was treated honorably?

I think that, worldwide, the war with the most damage (as far as lives and property lost) was probably World War II.

If you're talking solely AMERICAN lives lost--then it was the US Civil War.

But--the definition of "violent" is going to be key to the sort of answer you're looking for.

No matter how you want to slice it, the civil War was probably the most brutal. With the crude medicine of the times, so many people dies because of what today we would consider a minor gun shot. Amputees were common place and the sanitary or lack thereof caused thousands more deaths.
If you want to strictly consider torture, then the VietNamise were probably the worst in recent history. Considering the way that our captive soldiers and airmen were treated. Then again there were not nearly as many captives during VietNam as WWII and the Japanese treated our soldiers at least as bad and sometimes worse that the North Vietnamise did. So exactly what is your school project anyway?

Remember that Vietnam is and mostly for the past 50 or so years has been a pupped of communist China.

You've posted three times that you want to know about Viet Nam. You've posted that you're Asian. Maybe those two go together, maybe not. You've posted it's not homework.

What is it you are looking to find out?

Nobody knows what would have happened - everything is just a guess.

Again - what are you looking for someone to say? That Vietnamese are "tougher" than anyone else? That we all wish we were Vietnamese? I honestly don't know the reason for these various "what if" questions.

This has been going on for 7 months, since you first posted in January.
