    Conversion
    I am currently in chapter 13th bankruptcy, and I need to convert over to chp. 7 and I talked to some lawyers and they are charging too much. Is there a how to do it yourself answer out there.

    An attorney is not a formal requirement for filing bankruptcy, but it is highly recommended as it's a pretty complex procedure.

    Tell us what state you're in and we'll see if we can find instructions for you to review.
