    Can't save web pages in IE7 Message "Unable to create ' . '. Unspecified Error"
    When I try to add a new web age to my favourites in Internet Explorer7 in Windows Vista, I receive the message, "Unable to create ' ... '. Unspecified Error".

    Have I accidentally altered a setting or is there another explanation. I should appreciate help in fixing this.

    Regarding my own question, "Can't save web pages in IE7 (in Vista) - Message "Unable to create ' [file name] '. Unspecified Error""
    I managed to resolve the problem by deleting all my Favorites (after backing them up to another computer) and then copying them back into C:\Users\[my computer name]. New web pages are being saved again now.
