    Cannot open Outlook pst file from DVD
    I can not open my Outlook .pst file burned on DVD.

    I haven't tried doing that, but conceptually that makes sense as Outlook writes to as well as reads from the PST file and DVD-Rom is a write-once medium (and ignoring the non-random access nature during writing). Try DVD+-RW or DVD-Ram instead, but be prepared for slow performance. A USB flash memory drive might be a better option.

    Or copy the PST file to a writeable medium like your hard drive.
