I get 357 because you have to multiply 18x19 before you do anything else

    PEMDAS
Parentheses. Exponents. Multiplication. Division. Addition. Subtraction.
Do this process in order from left to right.
If its not there go to the next one.

To clarify ikryspy's post. It's not EXACTLY right. Multiplication and division can be switched to make the problem easier and so can addition and subtraction.

    9/3 * 3 can be: 3 * 3 or 27/3; both =9 but the first was the easier problem.

-3^2 is not covered in the rules either. That funky minus sign is called a urinary minus and it's preformed before exponeniation. Thus it's interpreted as (-3)^2 instead of - (3^2) or 9 vs -9. 9 is the correct answer.

    5+10+18x19

    5+10+18=33

    33*19=627

you would use PEMDAS Parenthesis Exponents Multiplacation Division Addition subtraction so you would multiply 18x19 and get 342 and then add 10+5=15 so add 342+15=357 so 357 is your answer not 627
