Blonde or light colored hair can turn green from the presence of hard metals, copper, iron, and manganese in the pool water. You can a wear fitted swimming cap to prevent the pool water from absorbing into your hair. But if you don't want to wear a cap, once you get out of the pool, rinse your hair with club soda. Also, use a clarifying shampoo to get rid of the green hue.
