What are you burning? Both XP and Vista have built in support for burners.

I want sometimes to burn data, or just music, sometimes rip music but I have itunes for that. Well yeah they do but mine doesn't work for some reason, when it comes to data. I go to my computer to make a data disk and I get an error, I forgot what it says since it happened a long time ago and just decided to not use it since I was suggested to use a program instead of the actual burner in my computer.

You should be able to just drag and drop files to your burner drive letter. You can use Windows Media player to make audio disks.

I use Nero. It's a really good Compact Disk/Digital Versatile Disk burner.
