    Honda civic ex 94 don't crank over
    I have a honda civic 1994 ex I was driving one day when the car turn off on me I check the fuelpump. I check the timeing belt all good I replace the distributor,starter.still the car don't start,I check for spark on the spark plugs it was good to.now I'm woundering if it can be my ecu for that car... can you tell me...

    . Test all under-dash and under-hood fuses with a test light or multimeter:

    . Perform K-Test on the ECM:

    The K-Test: Remove the MAP Sensor connector and turn the ignition switch to ON (not start). Using a multimeter, check for 5 volts going between the MAP Sensor connector's reference wire (+) and ground. As you look at the connector, this is the socket on the right. Really press the black test lead into a cleaned main ECM ground on the thermostat housing. If the voltage is low, it's probably indicating ECM failure. Most failed ECMs will record a fraction of a volt. To me, the K-Test is simple, elegant, and accurate.

    Note: We have had a number of new aftermarket distributors not work on Hondas.

The stater and the solenoid seem to be working, but there is not even a click comeing from either; the fuse near the battery is fine and all the fues under the drivers side seem to be okay. I have a 1995 Honda Civic with a 1.6 vtec. The motor was just replaced along with new plugs, plug wires and distributor. I can go out in the morinings around 6:30 and can't get it to crank but later in the afternoon it doesn't seem to have a problem cranking.
