    Cold air
I have a Hiel heat pump that never heats up to more 68 degrees at the floor registers. In addition, the thermostat has a "normal" function, an emergency heat indicator, and an auxiliary heat indicator. At any time during normal operation, the auxiliary and emergency lights are always lit up, and the air is never warm enough to get the house to 70 degrees.

Your heat pump is not providing any heat.
Turn the t-stat to emergency heat to test your electric heat
    Check filters

And then try the high limit reset button on the outdoor unit.

Heat pump should give 94 degrees at the floor register .
The aux. and them heat indicator lights will light
    When second stage is activated.
