    Toilet clog? And gurgles too.
    Hi.
My house has two bathrooms on the same level attached to a septic tank. Recently the commode in one room has become partially blocked I guess. At times you can flush it and it does not go down. It will drain down slowly. Other times it will flush OK. The commode in the other room does fine.

I can get the first one to go down by plunging. I have taken a 5 gallon bucket with about 3 to 4 gallons of hot water, poured it in and it went down fine. Two buckets and even three went down fine. But it would gurgle and bubble after it went down. If you flush the other commode the problem one will gurgle after the flush.

Does anyone have any ideas? I used a closet snake (about 4 to 5 foot long) with no success.

    Please help.
    Thanks.

A "gurgle" indicates a vent problem. A "bubble" indicates a blockage. Do you have both? Back to you. Tom
