    Sailboat watercolor
I have watercolor of a sailboat. The letters on one of the boats appear to be LUZNE. The artist signature is just initials- appearing to be WAC and possibly a date of 1-6-61 or 01. The watercolor is about 8"x12". Any information?

    Hi, lw9paris!

I'm sorry that no one has yet come along to address your question!

Concerning the artist, I don't know yet... Could be Polish, though.

If you're able to post an image of what you have, it would be helpful. We don't have any guarantees here as far as answers, however, we can try!

The name of LUZNE on the boat could be the first or last name of a person from Poland. Appears to be commonly used for such purposes as that.

    Thanks!

I have the same or a similar water color painting and an addition one. The initials on the bottom or the beginning of the last name are Me. I am unable to find additional information on it.

I have the same/similar water color with the intials or partial last name of Me on it. I have an additional similar water color that is unsigned. I cannot find any additional info. It was framed in NYC.

How do I determine the value of these items? If I choose to sell some of them, how can I market them...

Remember a book with a sailboat called Thefourofus? (The Four of Us) [ 5 Answers ]

It was about a boy and his family. He goes away to camp for the summer. This book was the first time I saw the word "Sou'wester" and had to look up the definition (a type of jacket). I'd really like to find it.
