    I'm not sure of the laws in the UK, but that doesn't matter. If it's a valid debt, then you pay it.

    Look its simple, Pay what you owe. Get a second job, cut back do what ever you can
    Like I said I no nothing of the laws in the UK
    But morally if you owe it you should work out some kind of payment plan

    Even with the laws it does not mean you don't owe the money, it just stops them from taking you to court to get the money, so they may chase you for that debt forever if they want.

    So yes, either pay them or run faster so they con't catch you.
