    Pregnancy sickness
One of my best friends is a little over 3 months pregnant and she has been sick EVERYDAY - ALL day, off and on. The medicine the doctor prescibed her did help a little but she is still getting sick. I know this sounds normal, but tonight I was on the phone with her and she started to get sick. When she called me back she said she was cauphing and threw up in the kitchen trashcan then went to the bathroom and said she was sitting there because she couldn't breath. Then got sick again in the toilet and noticed a little bit of blood but didn't think anything of it. Well when she blew her nose after this she blew all blood. Like she had a nose bleed or something. The doctor keeps telling her it is normal and she is at the end of her 1st trimester that it could and should stop soon. But I worry about her being sick like this everyday. She is not eating properly because she is nauseous, she is always going to the cabnet for a couple of crackers to settle her stomach. It's not good for her and it can't be good for the baby... Is everything okay? Is this normal??

I was sick like that until my 7th month, it does get a little better, but I still gained weight even though I felt like I didn't keep anything down! Cheerios helped me :)

I know, but if the doctor notices she is losing weight then he will give her a stronger medicine- my doctor told me it is more dangerous for a pregnant woman to take medication (most of them) than to have morning sickness as long as you aren't losing weight or straining too hard in your 3rd trimester. I'm sure there are other circumstances. But to be sure, you have nothing to worry about. It sounds like you are a good friend to worry about her like that though :)
