    Pubic Hair And Confidence
:confused:Hey I need help because I have really low confidence when it comes to doing things with a guy.. How do I gain more confidence in what I'm doing?
I'm really scared of what he might think of me and what I'm doing..
Also I have quite a lot of pubic hair and I really want to get rid of it
I've tried shaving but I get a rash from it and I also tried hair removel once but that just grew back too quickly and got very stubbley. I can't wax because I'm scared to do it in case it hurts and I'm only 14... so I can't really get it done professionally.
Please can you help me. I Don't know what to do!

    Thankyouu lots
    Xxx:p

If you are a teen then you shouldn't be doing things with a guy that involve him seeing your pubic hair.

Well it actually depends on your age as to whether its your choice or not. But regardless of whether it is your choice or not, there is such a thing as right or wrong choices or bad and good choices.

Being sexually intimate with a partner is an act of love, not a sport. Taking the step of sexual intimacy should only be done in a serious relationship. In such a case, there would be little or no worry about confidence since the relationship would be strong enough to cover any initial lack.

Also, since no form of contraceptive is 100% effective, sexual intercourse should only be done when the couple is emotionally and financially prepared to have a child.

You already appear to know your options for pubic hair maintenance. One of the "joys" of growing up is learning to accept the things you must do that you don't like. That's the definition of free will.

So, if you want to exercise your free will to play sexually, then you PROVE it by doing the uncomfortable things that accompany that choice. OK?

So, wax, gel or shave. Repeat as needed. No complaining.

I completely agree with the other posts.

That said, I will still answer your question. I can't imagine you have "quite a lot of pubic hair" as you're only 14 and you've been shaving and removing it along the way. Keep it trimmed instead. You don't need to look like a porn star or a little girl down there.

I totally agree with everyone that has posted as well :) I think that since you're 14 you should stop worrying about pubic hair.

But I'll still try to answer the question. I think that "confidence" is something no one can really give you advice on but something that you have to find yourself. Try to not think of yourself as low (or too high) and I think you'll be fine.

With the pubic hair, I agree with linnealand and the advice given.

While it is natural to be nervous, I would urge you to strongly consider what the previous people have said: you're only 14. Now, I'm not going to go and get puritanical on you and tell you that you shouldn't be sexually active and you wouldn't listen even if I did. Just keep in mind that you should wait until you are absolutely comfortable with the decision. Your hormones may be telling you "yes" but unless your heart and mind are with your hormones 100%, you're not ready. And the guy you're with, is he tender, slow, and caring? Will he take his time with you? If you can't honestly answer this as a yes, you're ultimately not going to enjoy your first time and you will regret not having waited. Engaging in frivolous sexual activity is a bad idea for a girl of your age--when you are older and more experienced you will be able to make judgments like this for yourself, but in the meantime make sure that you're not only really ready before you do it, but that your partner is going to be the kind of gentle, understanding, slow, and patient sort of guy that will make your first time a pleasant one rather than a regrettable one.

As for the pubes, I'd go with the trimming, if you're really that self-conscious. It's less painful, keeps the lawn mowed, so to speak, and, really, your guy isn't going to care that much anyway. Seriously.
