    Change of status from h4 to f1
    Hi-
    I am on H4 dependent visa my wife is on H1 visa. We both applied for extension of visa and been approved by uscis on October 10. On September 25 my wife asked me to leave the house and I left to my friends place in kingston RI.About 3 days back she sent me divorce notice, I called her to send my H4 approved document, but she refused to send the document. Now I am without any visa status document with me. I received acceptance for master in health administration but to change to f1 status my school is asking my i94 which is with my wife and she is refusing to give my i94 document.Please guide me to get my h4 document in best possible way.

    Contact police in her area, ask them to escort you to the house to get your personal belonging. Since your divorce is not final, she has no right to stop you.
