There are too many possibilities for being infertile for someone to be able to diagnose you through a forum. I would recommend a fertility specialist.

I would consider taking your temperature daily to see if you're ovulating [BBT] - TAKING CHARGE OF YOUR FERTILITY by Toni Weschler is a great book to read when trying to get pregnant.

well that explains so much... How about describing exactly what you are doing, then we MAY be able to help you.

Do you use drugs/alcohol? Is it you that is infertile versus him?

are you having sex? (believe it or not, I wouldn't be surprised with some of the questions we get on here)

have you been to the doctor? What did he/she say?

are you on medication if so what type and for what reason?

there are so many variables, we need to know as much info as possible to help in any way.

It could be so many things, you say your menstral periods are not normal I would assume you have been to your doctor sometimes they will put you on birth control pills for awhile. Do you have excessive hair on your body? It might be too much male hormone... you want advise?? Go see a ob/gyn

We can't diagnose you over the internet. The best advice I can give you is to set an appt with your obgyn.
I suffer from "unexplained infertility". I'm only 26 and actually had my daughter when I was on birth control pills at 18.
I don't have periods on my own so I take Prometrium every month to induce a period. This is one way a doctor might help you regulate your cycle.

Beyond that, you need to see your doctor. They will do a blood workup to make sure all your hormones are at the right levels to maintain a regular period and achieve pregnancy.

If you have been trying that long, definitely see your doctor. There are means to help regulate your cycles which may be part of the problem. It would be wise for both you and your boyfriend to have some testing done as it can often be a concern with your partner or a combination of both of you.

A good first step is to have a preconception visit with your doctor to review your general health and lifestyle factors that may help or hurt your odds of a healthy pregnancy. While trying to conceive, it is wise to be taking folic acid (a prenatal vitamin will give you what you need... at least 400 mcg). This helps to lessen the possibility of certain birth defects that occur in the early weeks of pregnancy. You and your partner should make any changes in diet and activities that you know would be healthy for you both.
Determining when you are most likely fertile would be the next step. General guide is you will likely ovulate about 12-16 days before your next period is due, but other means can be helpful as well because not everyone ovulates within that norm. Some women will chart their morning temps for a few cycles to see if a pattern develops, some will use ovulation predictor kits, some will notice changes in the amount and consistency of cervical mucus... often becoming more abundant, fluid, and clear as ovulation approaches. You will find many sites online about the specifics for ways to determine ovulation.
Having sex every couple of days throughout your cycle, with a few more sessions around the time you think ovulation may be coming up, is another way some couples achieve pregnancy.
Even with all of these measures, it is important to remember that pregnancy can take several months for many couples, even with good timing as there are several factors that come into play to achieve success. Most will be pregnant within a year, but some perfectly healthy couples will find it takes even longer. Some doctors will suggest initial testing if you have been actively trying for over a year without success... after 6 months of trying if you are midthirties or older.
Geritol is just a multivitamin... you will get the same, or more sometimes, from any good multivitamin or a prenatal vitamin.
