    Could someone translate this Arabic symbol?
    I believe this is an Arabic symbol, I just don't know what it means. Any help would be much appriciated.

    Assalamu Alaikum,

    There are 28 letters in arabic.
    But no kinds of symbols, excep those in qur'an and some abbrivations, ar'nt used in arabic language.
    The above shown symbols isn't Arabic in my awarness. But it has some similarity with "OM" in sanskrith means Oh GOD.

    It is a hindu symbol... its meaning is ohm... gods power to create preserve and destroy... sort of like the ahnk for egyptians
