    Transmission not shifting on 1998 firebird
    I have a 1998 firebird v-6 460le transmission.It will not shift unless you let up on gas pedaL and there is no reverse

    You have carefully checked the fluid level just as it says in the owners manual? Next step is to change the fluid and filter unless it was done recently. If that doesn't do it, you may need to go to the dealer or transmission shop.
