Maytag Gas Dryer-Runs great, but won't heat up
I have a 14 yr old Maytag Gas Dryer. I replaced the motor 2 years ago and it's ran great until now. I noticed a problem when I put clothes in at night and it was still running in the morning. The next time I used it, it ran for about an hour & the clothes were still wet. I have since replaced the ignitor, it worked a few times, then when the iginitor would go on, the gas would not kick in. Is it a faulty gas valve? Or the coil? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I had the same problem and it was the little coil. A $5 item.
Make sure that the ignitor is getting red for 10 second every minutes, there is abother part that sit next to the ignitor that in my case was good but who know, maybe your is depective. Start with the coils, there is 2 of them next to each other and I change the small one. The new came with both but I did not change the big one ( 3 connectors)
