    What do you think the answer is? It might help if you draw an example of a graph of distance versus time. Do it for something moving at different velocity over time, like for a car that accelerates from 0, reaches some speed, then decelerates to 0, and then goes backwards for a bit. Draw that graph, then pick a point and see if you can tell instantaneous speed from that one point, or average speed, or average velocity, or inertia. Try different points on your graph to make sure you have a consistent answer. Post back and tell us what you find.
