    Paint transfer removal
I scraped along a yellow wooden guardrail and now have yellow paint on the side of my car. Is there a way to get the paint off without doing any damage? There's no scratches or dents, just paint transfer. Thanks for any help.

My husband just did this as well. Make a paste of baking soda and water and apply with q-tip. Rub well and rinse with a lot of water. It worked for us.

I am a bodyman and you can try rubbing compound, just put a small amout on a soft rag and rub fairly hard and this should remove it (this can be bought in a small amount at you local auto parts store or even wal-mart). If it doesn't remove the paint you can try to wet sand it with 1500 grit paper(it shouldn't take much sanding) and then buff it back out with the compound. You may want to leave the sanding and buffing to a professional if you don't feel comfortable with that. Hope this info helps
