We have a summer home and when we moved in discovered a dead animal in the chimney. The house is now infested with flies. We have bought products ourself but are still discovering flies a week later. Anyone had any experience with this gross incident? We have and keep steriflizing all areas of our house . I can only imagine the kinds of germs these flies carried. Any opinions of what we can further do? HELP PLEASE!!

Personally, I would call someone, to make sure the dead animal, or whatever, is completely removed from the chimney... maybe a chimney sweep person.
Then, I would call a reputable exterminator, to be sure all the files, etc, are gone! Since you have washed and cleaned everything in the house, I really don't know what else you can do. It should be clean now. Best of luck.
