    Transmission identification ?
    I have a 1990 thunderbird supercoupe which needs a transmission , a buddy has an aod out of a lincoln laying in the yard with an id code of : pkacp4016780j18e6vpac
    Was wondering if you could decipher this code and tell me if it would be a direct fit or would there be modifications involved??

    This may be the vin# of the car it came out of check with Lincoln/Mercury Dealer
