Very little cold water going into washer
We recently had to install a new pump for our well. Probably a lot of sediement in water initially when turned on again. Now the Maytag washer gets plenty of hot water but very little cold... just a trickle. Could something be plugged? Where? Suggestions?

Typically there will be a filter (screen) where the water lines attach to the washing machine. Disconnect the cold line and you'll see it there. It should pop off - you can clean it easily.

Maytag Model (cant red first letter/number) maybe 2 or L or 1 then
A10700AAW Top Load - If I have to replace the water intake valve how do I get to it? I don't have to take the whole back off do I? Looking at it from the back where the hoses connect the metal box above the part seems to be "fixed".

    Update...
Figured out how to get to intake valve - duh!
It was somewhat plugged - the screen on the cold water intake hose was almost completely blocked... cleaned it & working fine now.
