    There are many smaller, part of it of course is you will need to get a patent on your product so they don't steal it ( and check to be sure there is already not one done)

    Then of course you would need to show ( or convince them to do it) marketing studies and the such.

Before you spend any money having your product processed and canned, and labelled, it would have to be passed by the FDA to make sure it is okay for human consumption, and with all the tainted food scandals surfacing, they would be very stringent.
