    Red, achy eye.
About a week ago, my right eye became achy. On looking in the mirror, I noticed that my eye looks blood shot in a couple of areas. The entire white part of my eye is not red.

It kind of laid off a bit for a few days. There was no redness or pain. This morning though, I woke up and it's redder than before (it covers more area, but still, there are white parts that aren't affected by the red) and it aches whenever I look in any direction other than forward, and it aches just to even gently rub a tissue over to collect the tears that have started accumulating. It has started weeping lots this morning.

Im unsure if I should just blow off work and other obligations this morning to go to the walk in clinic, or if it might be OK to wait until tonight. If I have conjunctivitis, is this something that other people could get being around me?

Sounds like Pink Eye, and yes it is very contagious.
Best advice is get it checked out at the clinic.
